Overview

Physician - Geriatrician role at Tampa General Hospital. Geriatrics - Skilled Nursing Facilities, with a hybrid schedule that includes rounding in Skilled Nursing Facilities and charting from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities under general supervision and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Plan and coordinate medical care, thoroughly document medical evaluations, and identify cases requiring further intervention.
• Formulate and communicate goals and plans of care, ensuring patient rights are protected.
• Oversee and support assigned Advanced Practice Providers within the department.
• Provide rotating On-call coverage shared among the Geriatric Team.
