Mechanical Drafter

Mechanical Drafter Contract Position Responsibilities : Prepare drawings to be released into ECO tool to prepare for next phase of development Create durable component drawings; mix of off-the-shelf & custom components (Plastic Injection Molding, Die casting, Metal Injection Molding etc.) Apply standard notes to drawings received Work closely with team members to run pre-approvals of the documents Work closely with doc control to pull ECO numbers, enter parts into ECO tool and get drawings approved Prioritize parts and organize the documents Requirements : Experience in a medical or documentation heavy environment Proficient in Solidworks skills, at least 2 years experience Attention to detail Time management / organization Good with feedback Efficient written and verbal communication with all disciplines and levels of employee
