EMS Supervisor - Paramedic

This positon is for Miami County EMS

Summary

Under the direction of the EMS Manager, responsible for the leadership of operational and clinical aspects of pre- hospital care for Parkview Health EMS teams . Assists in development and implementation of operational guidelines, staffing and scheduling processes, competencies, and fleet maintenance. Additionally, assists community hospital Medical Director(s) and physicians to develop and implement clinical guidelines, audit and review processes, clinical orientation, and competencies.

Education

Associate degree in Paramedic Science or healthcare related field preferred; or a combination of three years pre- hospital care experience and demonstration of ability to consistently achieve results and assigned tasks significantly better than established measures.

Experience

Must maintain a current EMT-Paramedic certification. Must maintain a current and valid Indiana driver's license.

Other Qualifications

Must demonstrate insurability under PHS vehicle and liability insurance policies, without a "Driver's exclusion", and / or other insurance modifications, and / or "High Risk" classification. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
