A company is looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer - Wildfire.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build advanced ML models to predict vegetation and fuel conditions

Design and maintain data and feature pipelines for large-scale geospatial data

Collaborate with teams to define modeling objectives and evaluation metrics

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in production-grade ML pipelines and systems (6+ years considered)

Strong background in deep learning, computer vision, or remote sensing

Experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost

Familiarity with cloud-based ML platforms like GCP and Vertex AI

Ability to lead architectural discussions and mentor engineers
