A high-performing funds group in San Francisco is adding an associate to support growth across tech-focused private equity, venture capital, and crossover funds. The work is sophisticated, fast-moving, and tied closely to the Bay Area's investment ecosystem.

This is not a passive support role. If you want to manage core workstreams, engage directly with fund managers, and be trusted with substantial responsibility early, this team delivers that.

The work

Formation of VC, growth equity, tech PE, and multi-strategy vehicles

Drafting and negotiating LPAs, side letters, subscription docs

Advising on '33 Act private placements

Unregistered fund matters under the Investment Company Act

Advisers Act compliance elements tied to launches
