Field Foreman

Kadant Johnson is seeking a results-driven, customer focused, and hands-on colleague with strong pipefitting and welding experience to join our team. This role combines field expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing installations, troubleshooting, and contractor management while ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently. The position is based out of Three Rivers, Michigan.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and perform pipefitting and welding on steam, condensate, water, and air systems in corrugating packaging plants
• Read, interpret, and work from P&IDs, drawings, and technical specifications
• Manage and coordinate third party contractors and ensure work meets Kadant Johnson and customer standards
• Support equipment installs, modifications, and troubleshooting on corrugator systems
• Provide accurate measurements, sketches, and documentation of system changes
• Work closely with engineering, service, and project management teams to ensure project success
• Maintain safety, quality, and performance standards while managing field operations
• Assist with developing scope of work, preparation of proposals, and supporting customer needs
