Pay
Salaried Grade 2 or 4
$51,600 - $66,600, depending on qualifications and experience
The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.
This position is part of a career ladder that includes grades 2-6, indicating potential for advancement.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. (other days and hours as needed). This position hybrid with minimum two days onsite per week.
Job Summary
McKee Foods is seeking a Retail Support Specialist to join our Retail Support team. This position helps grow McKee Foods' retail sales by identifying new opportunities, working closely with retailers, and maintaining clear and effective communication across teams. It builds strong relationships, supports marketing efforts, tracks important account details, and uses sales data to plan for continued growth-all while ensuring customer needs are met with care. The role also develops retail sales potential by creating, coordinating, and communicating opportunities that increase sales of McKee Foods' products to regional retail accounts. This employee will provide communication of retailer opportunities to the FSO (Field Sales Organization), independent wholesale distributors and retailers; the communication should build enthusiasm, excitement and encourage participation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Coordinate with other Marketing and Sales departments to develop effective and appropriate communication
- Meet with retailer as needed to understand their business model, strategy and structure
- Generate and review retail reports from internal and retailer specific systems
- Interpret data to maximize product and category sales; works with retailers and internal teams to develop strategic growth plans
- Identify opportunities to improve communication and store level success
- Maintains internal business information systems
- Develop good business relationships and supports marketing philosophy
- Maintain account specific information including pricing, new item authorizations, promotion authorizations, authorization lists, and other essential information
- Create contacts at headquarters and other sites as needed and develop good business relationships
- Resolve customer issues such as service, pricing, correspondence or other needs / concerns in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related fieldDemonstrated ability to develop sales by identifying and following up on opportunities for new sales and additional sales by Wholesale Distributors into retail accountsStrong customer service skills; effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiencesPossess high level of creativity, motivation and enthusiasmAbility to assist with developing sales strategies and business plansStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate processes and resultsAdvanced knowledge of analytical tools and practices using Microsoft Excel (I.e. advanced formulas, statistical tools, pivot tables, etc.) or similar toolHigh level of initiative and drive with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects, tasks and deadlinesAbility to perform with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel as necessaryPreferred Qualifications
