Tyto Athene is searching for a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Chicopee, MA at Westover AFB. This is a complex contract supporting the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve customer reported system incidents, problems, and events.
• Administer accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot system hardware and software.
• Identify possible causes of degradation of system performance or availability and initiating actions needed to mitigate this degradation.
• Knowledge of systems administration concepts.
• Knowledge of the operations and processes for incident, problem, and event management.
• Knowledge of electronic devices (e.g., computer systems / components, access control devices, digital cameras, electronic organizers, hard drives, memory cards, modems, network components, printers, removable storage devices, scanners, telephones, copiers, credit card skimmers, facsimile machines, GPSs).
• Knowledge of successful capabilities to identify the solutions to less common and more complex system problems.
• Develop a trend analysis and impact report.
• Leverage knowledge of cloud computing service models SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS, as needed.
• Support iOS and Android Operating Systems and VMware WorkspaceOne Mobile Device Manager
• Troubleshoot VMware WorkspaceOne enrollment issues.
• Troubleshoot VMware WorkspaceOne Application Assignment issues.
