Accounts Payable Associate

Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

$18-$22 / hr

Overview :

ssisting in the operation, control, and maintenance of the accounts payable system to ensure accurate, timely and efficient processing and payment of supplier invoices.

Responsibilities :

• Print and code invoices using three-way match to purchase orders and receiving tickets.
• Resolve purchase price and inventory variances before entering invoice into Made to Manage system in an accurate and timely manner.
• For non-purchase order invoices, forward to appropriate manager for approval and coding before processing invoice.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow-up with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to accounts payable inquiries.
• Assist in monthly closings with journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Provide information to internal and external auditors as needed.
• Maintain the filing system for invoices, statements, and supporting documentation.
• Other duties as necessary.
