Job Description :
As a Part -Time School-Based SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of California.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is desirable.
- Knowledge of special education procedures, IEP development, and Medicaid billing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and utilizing therapy techniques for various speech and language disorders.
- Familiarity with technology and software used in speech-language pathology.
