We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to contribute toward the development and delivery of scalable solutions as part of a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. This role will primarily involve engaging with IT team members but will also require collaboration with representatives of Business Operations.

Essential Functions :

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

Design client-side and server-side architecture

Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

Write effective APIs

Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Create security and data protection settings

Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

Write technical documentation

Other duties as assigned

Required education and experience :

Degree in Computer Science or related field

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

Experience implementing user interfaces from provided design documentation

Experience developing full-stack web applications

Experience developing web services to support mobile applications

Knowledge of frontend languages including (HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript), and frameworks / libraries (React, Angular)

Familiar with TypeScript and backend technologies and patterns (REST API, CRUD, MVC)

Comfortable with GIT version control

Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Experience with AWS or other hosting platforms

Skills and Abilities :

Experience with Jira, Agile and Scrum

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment

Great attention to detail

Organizational skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
