About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN (Registered Nurse)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour Nights

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical experience

License : Active RN License from North Dakota or a Compact State

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• Minimum 1 year recent Medical Surgical experience
• Experience with surgical oncology patients preferred, but not required
• EPIC experience
• Experience working in a larger hospital (200 beds minimum), level 2 or higher trauma center

Description :

Responsible for providing care to Medical Surgical and Surgical Oncology patients.

Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge.

Utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards in assigned clinical settings.

Equipment utilized includes EMR, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and Telemetry.

Applicants must be willing to float to any medical surgical unit.

The nurse to patient ratio on this unit is 6 : 1 during the night shift.

Note : Candidates living within a specified radius from the facility will be considered local travelers.
