Job descriptionBilingual : English and Spanish Training location : Cherry Hill, NJ Approx. 6-8 weeks Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Trustworthy, detail oriented and organized Working knowledge of Microsoft applications : Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to learn and work with multi-State Medicaid eligibility regulations (previous Medicaid experience a plus) Work Schedule : Monday- Friday 8 : 00AM-4 : 30PM
Description : DUTIES :
- Assisting patients in applying for Medical Assistance and or Charity Care
- Accurately document patient information and completing tasks in a timely manner
- Assisting patients in applying for Medical Assistance and possible other hospital state or federal programs, when applicable.
- Interviewing patients in a hospital or office setting to complete necessary forms.
- Verifying health insurances.
- Working with patients and / or family members, employers, banks and federal / state offices for additional information as needed
- Other duties as assigned
