About The Position

Must-Have :

Clinical experience in MS, MS Tele, and PCU diagnoses.

Ability to float to various units as required.

Description :

The position requires a registered nurse to work in the PCU Float role.

The nurse will care for a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics.

The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 4-5 in PCU and 1 : 5-6 in MS / MS Tele.

Experience with the Epic charting system is required.

The role involves managing a variety of medical conditions and performing specific nursing skills.

The candidate must be proficient in both arterial line management and central line care.

Additional skills include cardiac telemetry, phlebotomy, and care for ventilated patients.

Staffing includes interdisciplinary support such as respiratory services and social services.

The role may require working on major holidays and weekends.

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to professional nursing practice.

Compliance with all required documentation and protocols is expected.

The position may include floating to different units within the facility.
