Network IoT Engineer Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced Network IoT Engineer to manage, plan, execute, monitor, and control the technical delivery of medium to large-scale network and IoT projects . This role requires strong technical leadership and rigorous adherence to governance and process standards to ensure the quality, timely implementation, and successful integration of complex network solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Project Management : Manage medium to large network implementation projects, ensuring compliance and quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Collaboration & Relationship Management : Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Network Operations (CSB-IT staff analogue), vendor, consultant, and cloud / agency staff to facilitate project success.
Documentation & Planning : Create, review and maintain technical project artifacts including network implementation plans, configuration schedules, meeting agendas, technical risk / issue logs, and lessons learned at a minimum.
Governance & Standards : Manage projects according to approved Governance policies and procedures , ensuring all network solutions adhere to security and operational standards (analogous to IV-D policies).
Automation Tracking & Reporting : Utilize specialized engineering tools (analogous to the Atlassian tool suite) to track network device deployment milestones, configuration tasks, and integration deliverables against the baseline, reporting variances and corrective actions to management.
Communication : Schedule, prepare for, and facilitate technical project meetings ; communicate project status to stakeholders (Executive Management, IT / OT Management), and escalate / address technical issues in a timely manner.
Process Adherence : Adhere to network operations policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintain project artifacts according to the document management strategy.
Required Skills & Experience Core Experience & Technical Depth
Network / IoT Experience : 5+ years of network engineering, IoT solution development, or systems integration experience .
Complex Project Management : 2+ years of experience in managing large, complex multi-year network or infrastructure projects .
Governance & Methodology :
Thorough knowledge and experience of PMBOK project management practices applied to network projects, including cost, benefit, risk, resource, and change control (e.g., managing scope change in network configurations).
Thorough knowledge and experience of Agile Project Management and IT governance methodologies for successful solution deployment.
System Integration : Intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and IoT / CRM technology (analogous to Salesforce technology) for data integration and device management.
Tool Proficiency
Advanced knowledge and experience of technical documentation and planning tools (analogous to Microsoft products such as Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio).
Intermediate knowledge of engineering collaboration tools (analogous to Atlassian Tool Suite).
Soft Skills & Leadership
Ability to lead, motivate, encourage, and influence others to perform.
Ability to analyze, produce solutions, and solve complex project and network issues.
Ability to build and maintain relationships across business groups.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
Domain Knowledge : Business knowledge of large-scale infrastructure, telecommunications, or regulated systems (analogous to IV-D and Child Support Enforcement) preferred.
Environment : Experience in a state government or regulated enterprise environment preferred.
Certifications : PMP, Agile Certifications, or Scrum Master Certification preferred (demonstrates process discipline).
Work Style : Requires in-depth analysis of multiple variables for medium to complex enterprise projects.
