Patient Access Representative – On-site in Vail, CO

About the Role

As a Patient Access Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You’ll handle registration, admissions, insurance verification, scheduling, and administrative support, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Register patients and manage all related documentation, consents, and authorizations.
• Verify insurance, collect co-payments, and ensure accurate financial paperwork.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule appointments and educate patients on pre- and post-exam requirements.
• Maintain organized medical records and scan documents into the EMR.
• Monitor and manage front desk supply inventory.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to team success.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.64 - $24.25 / hr.
