About The Position

Job Title : EEG Tech

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : EEG Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : 2 years of EEG tech experience required

License : VA or compact state license required at time of submission

Certifications : Basic Life Support preferred

Must-Have : EMU monitoring experience, experience with pediatrics

Description :

This position will entail working in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.

Responsibilities include monitoring and performing maintenance on EEGs.

Coverage for inpatient EEG requests may be required as needed.

Participation during holidays that coincide with the scheduled shift is necessary.

The manager will conduct interviews for this role.

Candidates must have experience working in both pediatric and adult EEG settings.

Candidates should prepare to work one weekend a month.

All requested time off must be pre-approved and included in the contract.

Please plan accordingly for all necessary documentation, as candidates are not allowed to start with pending results.

Candidates are required to submit two references.

Candidates must also float within scope if needed.

Experience with Epic charting is required.

The facility will conduct a review of all background checks.

Compliance with the natural nail policy is required.

Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler.
