Industrial Shop Custodian

Since 1917, Globe Machine has been a manufacturer of industrial machines, systems, and plants for advanced composites, building products, and pulp & paper.

The Industrial Shop Custodian will ensure Globe's facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable by performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks. The selected candidate will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all Globe facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Perform floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing. Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal and sanitation practices.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to maintain visibility and appearance. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and equipment.
• Restock and maintain supplies in restrooms and break areas.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and minor fixture repairs. Assist in maintaining exterior cleanliness, including parking lots and walkways.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

All employees of Globe MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check. Our industry is "safety sensitive" and we do require a negative cannabis drug screen as well.
