We are seeking a driven and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and production of metal products. They will work closely with our team to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and are produced efficiently. This role requires 5+ years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on metal manufacturing.

Responsibilities :
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods for metal products, using knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
4. Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control.
5. Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization.
6. Implement and maintain the AS9100 quality management system, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
7. Oversee mechanical assembly processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.
8. Apply 6S methodology to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
9. Coordinate with other engineers and departments to resolve production issues and improve product quality.
10. Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Job Details
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal manufacturing engineering.
3. Proficiency in AS9100 quality management system.
4. Strong experience in mechanical assembly.
5. Proven experience with 6S methodology.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficient in the use of CAD software.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
11. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
12. Experience with statistical analysis and process control is preferred.
