Staff Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer for our Glastonbury, CT (Hartford) office. This position will involve gaining experience within the commercial construction, waterfront, dam and levee, and public infrastructure sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and jumpstart a career in the geotechnical field.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform engineering analysis and calculations.
• Oversee geotechnical field investigations.
• Coordinate and interpret lab test data.
• Manage geotechnical data through spreadsheets and databases.
• Prepare technical memos, reports, and construction specifications.
• Observe and document construction activities.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
