Job Title : Change Coordinator I

Schedule : Monday to Friday | 7 : 00 8 : 30 AM start | 8-hour shift
Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Change Coordinator to support engineering and manufacturing operations within a dynamic technical environment. The Change Coordinator will manage product and technical data changes through established change management processes and tools, ensuring proper release, communication, and implementation across functional teams. This role will collaborate with engineering, quality, purchasing, and production teams to support continuous improvement, product development, and cost reduction initiatives.
This is a fully onsite position with occasional access to the production floor (up to twice per week). Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when entering the factory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and manage technical data changes through the Enterprise Change Request (ECR) process using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering leadership, consulting engineers, marketing, production, quality, purchasing, and vendors to support product improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Apply sound engineering principles to assess designs, bills of materials, and 3D computer models.
- Generate and review engineering documentation, assemblies, and subassemblies to ensure accuracy and compliance with current practices.
- Provide programming logic and configuration input for bill-of-material (BOM) generation.
- Support and maintain Engineering Systems applications, ensuring data integrity and workflow efficiency.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Demonstrate effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of change requests.
Required Qualifications :
Education : Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , Pro-E / CREO , PDMLink , and configured product tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.General knowledge of engineering and manufacturing operations including production control, quality assurance, and industrial engineering.Familiarity with common manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, stamping, and 3D modeling .Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments.Strong multi-tasking ability and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 1 2 years of experience in product, project, or support engineering within a manufacturing environment.Experience with electro-mechanical products , such as pumps, valves, or motors.Working knowledge of PTC Windchill and Creo Parametric , including experience configuring, testing, or administering these tools.Understanding of fluid applications , pressure vessel design, and HVAC processes or equipment.Experience working with regulatory or listing agencies (UL, FM, CSA, CE mark).Proven ability to collaborate across global teams and multiple time zones.Familiarity with MS Project and basic project management principles.Key Attributes for Success :
