About the Role
The institution is seeking a Clinical Affairs Associate Head in Cardiology to play a vital role as a physician leader responsible for overseeing clinical practice and operations within the Division of Cardiology. In this position, you will lead a diverse team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and fellows, collaborating closely with both administrative and clinical research staff to develop and optimize innovative clinical programs.
Your key responsibilities will include program development, operational harmonization, and the strategic advancement of the division. You will serve as the primary liaison between the Division and the healthcare system, ensuring alignment with quality protocols and safety standards. Additionally, you will focus on workforce development, research, education, and driving financial and strategic growth.
Ideal candidates will possess an MD, DO, MD-PhD, or DO-PhD degree, be board-certified / eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine, and have a minimum of 5 years of leadership and operations experience. You should exhibit a strong background in clinical operations, quality, safety, and outcomes, accompanied by experience in workforce development and adherence to professional standards.
