Developer / Programmer | $ 3 6 - $ 41 per hour | Hybrid Contract

Job Description

Join a high-impact team supporting enhancements and the client’s enterprise-level ePermits system—a Tier 1 permitting platform used by constituents. This role supports ongoing legislative and operational changes and will play a key part in stabilizing the system while reducing reliance on legacy resources.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze user stories and translate them into development tasks with accurate time estimates
  • Participate in Agile planning and grooming sessions to review backlog and upcoming feature work
  • Develop, test, and deploy technical solutions in accordance with project standards and QA timelines
  • Identify and resolve bugs found during testing and user feedback cycles
  • Support production deployments and post-deployment validation

    • Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in application development with strong knowledge of modern development practices
  • Ability to develop full-stack solutions and work with implementation teams to ensure successful QA deployment
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery cycles
  • Strong debugging and post-deployment support experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    The Pay Rate range for this position is $36 - $41 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
