Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med / Surg / Telemetry.

The role involves caring for adult patients with a variety of conditions, including diabetes, congestive heart failure, infection, sepsis, COPD, and post-surgical recovery.

Nurses must have a minimum of two years of experience in adult MS / Tele.

Floating to other units with equivalent or lower acuity is required.

Weekend coverage is every other weekend, with six weekend shifts within six weeks.

The patient ratio is 1 : 5.

Familiarity with special procedures, including handling telemetry monitoring and managing chest tubes, is essential.

Candidates should be adept at using patient lifts and administering medications through various routes, including IV and PCA pumps.

The daily census averages around 30 patients in a unit with 34 rooms and 44 beds.

This position does not require care for pediatric patients.

Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is a key component of this role.
