Description :

Brief unit description : A surgical department performing approximately 250 cases per month.

The department offers the opportunity to work with a highly engaged and friendly team.

Shift times : 0645 to 1445.

Call requirements include a 30-minute response time.

One late shift (until 1800) and one on-call shift per week are required.

Saturday and Sunday on-call every 4th weekend.

Holiday requirements include the day following Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Unit size includes 6 operating rooms.

Cases seen include general surgery, pulmonology, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, Client (C-sections), robotics, pediatric dental, ENT, and gastroenterology.
