Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details : \n

  • Work Monday through Friday schedule with variable days off

    • \n

  • Weekend coverage only required with call shifts

    • \n

  • Call coverage required 10-14 days per month average (12 including weekends)

    • \n

  • Float within facility and scope of practice as needed

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required - accepts first time travelers

    • \n

  • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • \n

  • Daily census of 10-12 patients in 2-room facility

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS (RCIS or ARRT)

    • \n

  • Epic charting system experience required

    • \n

  • Community hospital experience preferred

    • \n

  • Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

    • \n

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, PCI procedures, balloon angioplasty, stent placements

    • \n

  • Handle pericardiocentesis, aortograms, peripheral angiograms, and temporary pacemaker procedures

    • \n

  • Work with IABP / Impella placement and cardiomems placement

    • \n

  • Treat conditions including chest pain, CAD, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and tamponade

    • \n

  • Maintain sterile technique and equipment setup

    • \n

  • Must be available to work major holidays during assignment period

    • \n

  • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

    • \n

  • Work with GE and Phillips equipment

    • \n

  • Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
