Revenue Cycle Posting Representative

Job Description

The Posting Representative is responsible for posting payments and adjustments received daily, to patient accounts and reconciling incoming patient payments via lockbox, Electronic Fund Transfer and live check.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Posts payments and adjustments to patient accounts in a timely manner.
• Conducts payment research for other Jefferson departments and third-party vendor partners.
• Assist with scanning and indexing of payment information and patient correspondence for proper filing.

Assists in recording general ledger and inter-departmental payment transactions.

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIREMENTS :

High school diploma / GED required
