Location :  Ocala, FL (34474)

Shift :   5 : 30am-4pm (Mon-Thurs) optional overtime on Friday / Saturday

Pay :   $16.50+ based on skills & experience

Position Type :  Contract-to-hire

Job Description

Assemble parts of firetrucks by running wire, electronics, plumbing, and mechanical components on the truck. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts of the truck. Work off of shop orders to correctly install components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts of firetrucks by running wire, electronics, plumbing, and mechanical components.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts of the truck.
• Work off of shop orders to correctly install components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings.
• Assemble Under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components
• Programming the lights from engineering specs
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry
• Test products to ensure performance to specifications
• Reading specs to make sure the trucks are built per spec
• Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks Etc.
• Fix quality issues

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $21.50 / hr.
