Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Louisville, Kentucky (40202) – Kentucky nursing jobs Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Setting : Operating Room (OR) – Surgical Services Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 6 : 30am – 7 : 00pm (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed hours) Weekend Rotation : Saturday rotation every 6 weeks Call Requirements : Minimum 40 hours per 6 weeks Unit : 31 Operating Rooms, 1 : 1 patient ratio Scrubs : Provided by facility Estimated Weekly Pay : $1740 - $1860 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky – Kentucky RN jobs BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Previous travel nurse experience preferred Strong clinical skills in high-acuity surgical patient care preferred Experience with neuro, orthopedic (robotics / arthroscopic), thoracic, vascular, transplant, and ENT / radical neck procedures is a plus Familiarity with Cerner EMR and advanced surgical equipment (Mako, DaVinci, O-Arm, Rosa robots) beneficial Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a technologically advanced operating room Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Prepare and maintain the operating room, including surgical instruments and equipment Provide patient advocacy and support throughout the perioperative experience Participate in call rotation and scheduled weekend shifts Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude, assisting across multiple surgical service lines as needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR Take the next step in your nursing career with this Louisville travel nursing job.
