Tailwaggers Pet Food and Supplies is locally and independently owned since 2003. We are your friendly neighborhood pet supply store. Our motto is Holistic, Healthy, Happy.
We are pleased to have 3 retail locations in Los Angeles, and we are looking for experienced customer service experts to join our Retail Management Team as Key Holders.
Pay rate : Starting at $19 an hour (depending on experience )
Full time Positions available
Key Holders are team leaders who :
- Exemplify excellent customer service during every guest-encounter
- Coach and train our staff in Tailwaggers policy, sales techniques, and product-knowledge
- Open and close our awesome locations
- Increase sales and boost morale by exuding a great attitude and leading by example
- Report daily to Location and Executive managers verbally and via email
- Are great with animals! (We see lots of dogs and cats in our stores every day!)
Qualified Candidates will have :
Prior retail, sales, customer service, or front desk experienceA love for and dedication to pets and animalsOpen work-availability for days, nights, weekdays, and weekendsA great attitude and desire to learnIt is NOT required to have previous pet industry experience. We train with our staff regularly about our great foods and brands, but previous experience in the field is always a plus!Tailwaggers Job Perks!

Welcoming customers into the store, engaging, treating the pets that are visiting, providing excellent customer serviceTraining staff in protocol and proceduresDirecting and delegating to our staff dailyStaying knowledgeable about our range of pet food and suppliesExplaining to customers the best products for their animals' needsRecommending related products to increase customers' options and enrich the shopping experienceAccepting and processing orders, operate the POS register, and resolving customer return-issuesPromoting special sales, offers, and awareness of store loyalty programPerforming day-to-day cleaning and tasks as assignedDaily reporting and email correspondenceWe look forward to hearing from you soon!
