Responsibilities
- Works with medical records associates to maintain and ensure the data integrity of the medical records department.
- Works with medical records associates to ensure the entry of data to facilitate the prompt delivery and shipment of product.
- Trains new personnel to facilitate proper paper flow and ensure uninterrupted service.
- Authorizes system accesses for Medical Record associates.
- Communicates with facilities regarding corrections of medical data.
- Assists consultant pharmacists by obtaining facility data from system as needed. May also inform consultant pharmacists regarding departmental procedures.
- Manages associates to the level of performance expected by PharMerica by coaching, training, mentoring, and evaluating performance and handling disciplinary issues as they arise.
- Observe and comply with all PharMerica, ability to read and write English, ability to communicate and ability to remain calm under stress.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Qualifications
Education / Learning ExperienceRequired : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.Desired : Nursing & / or pharmacy background or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is preferred.Work ExperienceRequired : 3 years medical records experience and / or trainingDesired :
