Job description

CAPABILITIES

  • Proven creative versatility across digital, paid media, social, and print collateral
  • Strong ability to concept, design, and execute complex product packaging
  • Excellent eye for design and typography, with skill in developing cohesive graphic solutions across a broad product portfolio
  • Deep understanding of digital and print production processes
  • Proactive awareness of industry trends and emerging design innovations

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Concept, Conceptualize, design, and deliver visually compelling creative for social media, web, email campaigns, packaging, paid ads, and more
  • Use gaming insights and trends to inform creative ideas that authentically connect with our audience and achieve business goals
  • Design iteratively with a strong command of typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Create strategic D2C and retail packaging designs that maintain consistency with SCUF’s brand identity
  • Partner with product development to ensure packaging designs are functional, manufacturable, and cost-efficient
  • Uphold and evolve SCUF’s brand standards across all touchpoints, contributing to the brand style guide as design trends and customer needs evolve
  • Collaborate with 3D Designers, Photographers, and Copywriters to refine visuals and messaging
  • Prepare and deliver production-ready files to vendors, printers, and digital partners globally
  • Present ideas and final designs confidently to creative and marketing leadership
  • Participate actively in team ideation and creative strategy sessions
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must provide an online portfolio showcasing previous work. Please note : Applicants without a portfolio site will NOT be considered
  • Deep passion for gaming and strong understanding of gaming culture
  • Strong grasp of the creative process, from brief interpretation to execution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
  • High attention to detail and commitment to design excellence
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to take and apply feedback constructively
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma
  • Proficiency in Keynote and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of agency or in-house creative team experience required
