Your Responsibilities - Data Entry: Input patient demographics, insurance coverage, and allergies accurately.
- Prescription Processing: Read, interpret, and process prescriptions using pharmacy software; enter drug strength, dosage, and provider info.
- Patient Support: Use dual-identification protocols at will-call and provide excellent customer service in English and Spanish.
- Filling & Packaging: Count, pour, and mix pharmaceuticals; affix labels and package medications for pickup.
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock, scan prescriptions into profiles, and check for expired medications monthly.
- Compliance: Ensure all safety rules and California Board of Pharmacy regulations are strictly followed.
Requirements - Licensure: Must possess a valid Pharmacy Technician license from the California Board of Pharmacy.
- Language: Must be fully bilingual in Spanish (ability to translate, read, write, and speak).
- Availability: Must be able to work every other Saturday
- Attributes: Punctual, hardworking, and eager to learn.
Schedule Details - Standard Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch).
