QA Lab Technician – Biological Indicator Testing

Maplewood, MN 55144

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Duration : 12-month contract (Potential for extension)

Pay rate : $25-28 / hr.

Job description : Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Lab Technician to support analytical and visual testing of biological indicator products. This role involves operating sterilization equipment, executing test cycles, and ensuring product quality through accurate data analysis and documentation.

You will be part of a 9-person Quality team working cross-functionally with R&D and laboratory staff in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform analytical and visual inspection of biological indicator products.
• Operate sterilization equipment, load test samples, execute sterilization cycles, and analyze test results.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of quality documentation.
• Interpret data and compare printouts and visual indicators to specifications.
• Support design verification, validation protocols (IQ / OQ / PQ), and control plan execution.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; follow established test procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, development engineers, and technicians on special requests and investigations.
• Enter results and reports into controlled document systems accurately and in a timely manner.
