Night Shift : 7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am; 36 hours per week, every other weekend

Job Description

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients' plans of care. This role is essential in creating an atmosphere that supports our mission to care, to heal, to educate. The Staff Nurse, RN serves as the primary caregiver, providing direct patient care and collaborating with other care team members, physicians, and patients / families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently as well as in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing, managing and conducting the care of up to 3 ICU step-down patients or up to 4 medical / surgical type patients.
