Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide specialized services within a high school setting. This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking to contribute their skills to support students in grades 9 through 12, addressing a diverse caseload with collaborative assistance.

Location : Gadsden, Arizona

Duration : Contract from start ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY)

Hours : 37.5 hours per week

Caseload : Approximately 140 students, supported by a team including another OT and COTA

Population Served : High school students, grades 9-12

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students within the specified age group
• Collaborate with educational staff and therapy assistants to support individual student needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that promote student independence and academic performance
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ply with federal and state regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and optimize student outes
