COMPENSATION :

• $450,000 to $500,000 Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience
• $25,000+ Sign-On Bonus (negotiable)

Their offerings include, among others, pulmonology, endocrinology, rheumatology, anesthesiology, oncology, pediatrics, urology, carology, internal medicine, and family medicine. This is a very stable, thriving healthcare system with a CEO who s been at the helm for more than 30 years. All providers are employees of the system.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The new physician will work in both inpatient (ICU) and outpatient (clinic) settings, working in the area of general pulmonology as an employed hospitalist.

The average number of patients per day varies, depending upon patient needs, setting, and physician schedule.

The volume is kept at an appropriate level to ensure proper patient care and the practice is happy to collaborate with the physician to determine visit lengths and daily volume.

Physicians work with dedicated assistants who room and prep patient visits, as well as assist during visits as needed.

The practice has extensive resources available, including an EHR and robust administrative support.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Louisiana medical license
• DEA
• Board Certified or Eligible, Pulmonology
