Job Summary :

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of a leading diagnostic services provider to patients visiting for routine health screenings or life-defining test results. The PSR I performs phlebotomy, specimen preparation, and data entry in accordance with established practices and safety procedures. This role requires a balance of technical precision and compassionate care, ensuring each patient interaction builds trust and confidence.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisory guidance.

Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment .

Conduct forensic and clinical specimen collection in compliance with procedures.

Verify patient identification and ensure proper specimen labeling.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of all collections.

Exhibit organizational commitment and professional demeanor with patients and colleagues.

Adapt to scheduling needs, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Required Experience :

Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required .

1+ years of experience preferred.

Customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or related service environments.

Keyboard / data entry proficiency required.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Prior work in Patient Service Centers or high-volume clinics.

Exposure to diagnostic laboratory operations.

Familiarity with California clinical compliance standards.

Required Skills :

Proficient in phlebotomy across pediatric and geriatric patients.

Strong organizational and multitasking ability in a fast-paced setting.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

Medical assistant or paramedic training background.

Phlebotomy certification required in California.

Attention to detail with focus on patient privacy and specimen accuracy.

Additional Skills :

Commitment to process excellence.

Accuracy in data verification and labeling.

Professionalism in client-facing settings.

Shift / Hours :

Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. – 1 : 00 p.m.
