What You'll Do (and Why It Matters) :

• Empowerment Advocate : You'll plan and support individuals in a wide range of daily activities, from vocational training and personal living skills to recreational outings and community integration. You'll help them discover new interests, build confidence, and become more independent.
• Health and Safety Champion : You'll assist individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles, monitor their well-being, and ensure a safe and clean environment. You'll be a key observer and will report any changes in their health or behavior.
• Life Skills Coach : You'll provide training and assistance in everything from healthy dietary choices to personal hygiene, adapting your approach to meet each individual's unique needs.
• Communication Hub : You'll stay connected with the team by checking and responding to program messages daily.
• Performance Partner : You'll observe, evaluate, and provide feedback on individuals' performance in group settings and work assignments, helping them develop valuable skills and build self-esteem.
• Transportation : You'll safely transport individuals to activities, work, and home, adhering to all GAAMHA safety policies.
• Record Keeper : You'll accurately document progress, observations, and other important information in our electronic records system, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Team Player : You'll actively participate in required training and maintain a professional demeanor at all times, reflecting GAAMHA's values and commitment to dignity and respect.

Physical Requirements :

This role involves some physical activity, including assisting with daily living activities, bending, cleaning, standing, climbing, kneeling, and pushing (e.g., wheelchairs).
