Job Title : Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of casino gaming equipment and related materials within the warehouse. This role ensures that slot machines, table games, parts, and other gaming assets are handled according to company and regulatory standards, while maintaining accuracy and organization in all inventory activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of casino gaming equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Safely load, unload, and move gaming machines, tables, and components using proper material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts).
- Prepare items for shipment or installation, including labeling, packaging, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or company databases.
- Assist in the assembly, staging, and configuration of gaming equipment for delivery or installation.
- Coordinate with field technicians and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Follow all gaming regulations and company policies regarding equipment handling, asset tagging, and recordkeeping.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
- Identify and report any damaged, missing, or non-compliant materials.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.1+ year of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience (gaming industry experience preferred).Familiarity with casino gaming equipment (slot machines, tables, peripherals) a plus.Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems or ERP software preferred.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods.Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses or work permits.Work Environment :
Warehouse environment with moderate noise levels and frequent lifting.May occasionally require travel to casino properties or off-site storage locations.Must adhere to all safety, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.Pay Details :
