Job Details :

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Maintenance Generalist must possess a minimum of 6 months of mechanic work / experience and / or education documented in the work / education history section of the application (can be a combination of employer(s) / education, if equals at least 6 months.

Maintenance Scale Tech must possess a minimum of 6 months of electronic maintenance work / experience and / or education documented in the work / education history section of the application (can be a combination of employer(s) / education, if it equals at least 6 months.

The ideal candidate will have :

• 6 months of verifiable maintenance experience and / or education
• Basic computer knowledge / skills
• Knowledge and ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical automated process control system, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity
• Mechanical skills
• Ability to perform pm tasks on equipment daily and weekly
• Ability to perform trouble shooting activities daily
• Proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment
• Ability to weld using appropriate tools accordingly
• Willingness to travel for advanced training classes
• Good trouble shooting skills
• Dependable and responsible
• Safety Oriented (learning and following Core Safety mandates)
• Willingness to work 5-6 days a week with overtime
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb ladders and work overhead
• Flexibility to work in cold and or hot temperatures
• Cooperative and follows instruction carefully
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation : Pay based on experience / skill. Range $21.35 hr. to $29.95 / hr.

Hours : 1st Shift
