VP of Tax Compliance Opportunity

Location : Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid) - Open to Relocation Packages!

Compensation : Base $175K–$250K + OTE

Our client is a cutting-edge AI‑powered fintech firm that is seeking a VP of Tax to lead and scale its tax operations. This is a rare opportunity to join a mission‑driven company transforming how small businesses manage their finances.

The Role

• Lead and mentor a growing tax team (currently 10+), including preparers, reviewers, and onboarding / admin staff
• Collaborate with the VP of Tax Strategy to balance technical execution with strategic planning
• Drive throughput, quality, and scalability across tax operations
• Be a hands‑on leader with a passion for training, process improvement, and client service
• Report directly to the CEO and work cross‑functionally with leadership, including Sales and Founders
