Renewable Project Manager

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI), a leading power engineering consultant firm, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Billings, MT or Tigard, OR office as a Renewable Project Manager.

Under general supervision, the Renewable Project Manager is responsible for the execution and administration of medium to large-sized renewable energy projects, particularly in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role demands a high level of technical competence and knowledge across a spectrum of engineering-related issues.

Projects must be delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Defining project scopes of work, project budgeting, project proposals, project management, and scheduling.
• Planning and developing renewable energy projects that address unique or unusual problems impacting ECI's performance and reputation.
• Interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating work assignments.
• Maintaining liaison with professionals and associates within and outside ECI to remain technically current on a wide variety of renewable energy topics.
• Planning, organizing, and supervising project teams in performance of engineering work.
• Demonstrating technical excellence through recognized positions of authority and responsibility on technical committees, working groups, and societies, or alternatively authoring and publishing / presenting technical papers or seminars.
• Maintaining autonomous QA / QC responsibility in primary technical areas.
• Managing groups of engineers, technicians, and other project support team members of various sizes.
