Heres what Skillit needs from you :

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Taper in commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of taping techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to achieve a flawless finish with minimal sanding.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and construction plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is a plus.

    • Heres what youll be doing :

  • Apply tape, joint compound, and other materials to drywall seams, corners, and imperfections.
  • Sand, smooth, and prepare drywall surfaces for painting or finishing.
  • Ensure surfaces meet quality and safety standards in line with commercial construction specifications.
  • Repair or patch damaged drywall in existing commercial spaces.
  • Select appropriate materials and tools for each project to maximize efficiency.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, or written instructions to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on the jobsite.
  • Collaborate with other trades and project teams to meet deadlines and project requirements.
