Manager notes - Need Network Administrator candidates that have heavy Firewall experience.... Meaning they can configure firewalls, not just troubleshoot them.

Heavy Cisco experience as well. ASA experience. Will be troubleshooting networks so experience doing that on the frontline...good comm. Is required.

Description :

The Network Analyst, for CLIENT Corporation will be a member of CLIENT's IT - Global Networking team at the company's Houston, office reporting to the Manager - Network Services

This position will work within CLIENT's operations team to support CLIENT's enterprise network and contribute to projects when needed requiring network expertise.

The successful candidate will be able to :

• Act as a resource for reported network performance or application performance issues
• Manage and support the network monitoring and configuration management software
• Provide technical support for field networks to include industrial switches, routers, and wireless bridges
• Utilize CLIENT's service portal to manage and create service requests, outages, and change requests
• Identify innovative ways to utilize existing applications and technologies
• Forecast and coordinate management of change for scheduled maintenance weekends
• Effectively communicate with end users and peers around the world
