Under limited supervision, Truck Operators will be expected to : manage, load, and transport trailer inventory throughout the site. Maintain proper bin levels, manage production throughput and quality standards, sanitation upkeep, managing and adjusting process equipment as needed, and to complete any necessary tasks. Operators must also have additional knowledge of the plant flow in order to make swift changes for production rate maximization.

Essential Job Functions :

• Conducts job task with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record
• Maintains a good attendance record
• Work rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidays
• Maintains good communication with all plant personnel
• Maintain production rates
• Ability to understand and perform assigned job task easily and independently while flexible to work in a team setting
• Maintain good housekeeping and completes sanitation paperwork and duties as required
• Conducts daily inspections, reporting any problems noted
• Continuously monitors and cleans equipment for optimal performance and quality
• Operate machines and vehicles within guidelines and safety requirements
• Move product with various equipment including forklift, truck, etc.
• Review production records and labeling for accuracy
• Move / lift objects up to 55 lbs
• Will sit, stand, crouch, lift, transport, twist, squat, bend, use shovels, brooms and other tools, and climb stairs and ladders with other physical requirements including repetitive hand use throughout every shift

Minimum Education Required : High School / GED
