Responsibilities :

• Interpret quotations, plans and specification documents for project design and execution
• Actively communicate with customers, including project scope, design feedback, and technical clarifications
• Set milestone goals and work with the engineering team to balance project needs to meet the schedule
• Effectively deliver feedback and updates to a wide range of individuals and departments
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure effective transfer of projects from Engineering to Manufacturing
• Participate in design reviews for accuracy and compliance with customer requirements
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of UL 508A and 698A standards
• Develop circuit diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical
• Select hardware and create BOM (bill of materials)
• Assist purchasing to ensure engineering designs are efficient and within budget
• Modify and write PLC programs specific to the application
• Develop HMI applications in conjunction with PLC programs
• Perform factory system testing and simulations prior to shipment
• Travel to customer’s sites for inspection and system commissioning

Travel : Less than 20% annually, domestically. Occasional international travel.

Qualifications :

5+ years’ experience related to controls working for an industrial controls manufacturer, OEM, or systems integrator.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical and PLC / HMI programming principles. The ability

to program Rockwell Automation and Siemens Controllers, Operator Interfaces, and SCADA systems is preferred.

Experience with Variable Frequency Drive Systems (Rockwell and / or Danfoss preferred) and motor control applications

are a must. Demonstrate strong communication skills with employees, customers, and management.

Education :

BSEE, BSME, BSCE 4-Year Degree or equivalent experienc
