Job Description
Duties include but are not limited to : Analytical support to senior management on Mortgage Servicing initiatives, Develop ad-hoc reporting to support the operational units within mortgage servicing, Apply data mining and analytical approaches to explore mortgage servicing and third party vendor application data, Develop, validate, and recommend potential data sources and structures, Develop MIS around mortgage servicing and create reports to assist business decisions, Build internal partnerships, Present and explain key findings and recommendations to senior management, Measure benefits or risk exposure of different technological and operational implementation strategies, Leads project / virtual teams and mentors lower level staff.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required to meet basic qualifications) : 6+ years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 3+ years directly applicable work experience.
Minimum Qualifications (Required to meet minimum qualifications) : Proven ability to build internal partnerships, Ability to convey complex issues to senior managers, Proven track record working with large and complex databases, reporting tools, or equivalent financial software, Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, Attention to detail, Creative thinking in trouble shooting and resolving complex problems, Demonstrated ability to provide analysis that puts data in context to operational processes, Demonstrated ability to independently research, compile, and perform in-depth analysis on critical operational data.
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and company compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptance of background check investigation results.
Preferred Qualifications : SAS and SQL experience, Experience with Oracle, Teradata, and UNIX platforms, Background with business process design, And / or equivalent military experience.
