Operating Room RN Job Details Location : Plano, TX 75075 (Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex) Facility : Level 1 Trauma Center, 23-bed Operating Room Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM), call required Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570–$1680 per week Scrub Attire : Ceil blue or royal blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience Proficiency with Meditech EMR systems Experience in at least one surgical specialty : Orthopedics, Neuro / Spine, Robotics, Plastics, or Trauma Ability to participate in on-call rotation as required Excellent communication and teamwork skills OR RN Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, maintaining a 1 : 1 patient ratio Assist with diverse surgical procedures : neuro / spine, orthopedic trauma, total joint revisions, robotics (gynecology, colorectal, thoracic, urology), plastics, and Level 1 trauma cases Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team : charge nurses, nurse managers, CSTs, OR assistants, and anesthesia techs Document all patient care activities accurately in Meditech EMR Adhere to all hospital policies, unit guidelines, and dress code standards Participate in on-call rotation and provide clinical support as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team in Plano, Texas, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
