Responsibilities
- Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies
- Translating complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables
- Building effective long-term relationships with our clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service
- Communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients
- Maintaining your reputation in your field by constantly updating and sharing your technical and finest practice knowledge
- Reviewing work of more junior team members
- Identifying and reacting to risks and opportunities to improve our services and processes
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a related field, supported by significant tax, business or financial planning experienceHave obtained or have active progress towards a CPA certification or membership in The BarMinimum of 2 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organizationExperience with federal and state personal and trust taxationExperience with flow through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs)A thorough understanding of automated tax processing systemsExperience with Gift, Estate and Trust tax planning and compliance is a plusWillingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environmentPreferred / Additional

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $82,000 to $135,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $98,500 to $153,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
